I was born and raised in the Highlands of Scotland, but I currently live in El Paso, Texas. After I graduated from uni in Glasgow, I packed up and moved myself to South Korea to teach English. Two years in, I met my husband, found myself undeniably crazy about him, and we have a marriage certificate in Korean to prove it. We stayed there another two years, took in as many forgotten pets as we could afford (and one we couldn’t), then got orders to move to El Paso. Which is fine, if dusty. He deploys in a couple of months and I’ll be back in the Midwest. Which will also be fine, actually nice, and better than just dusty, but perhaps a little crowded, and definitely not as comforting as a certain fireplace in a certain house in Sutherland, with the memory of a certain dog snuggled next to me. I will mostly be taking even more photos to get through this year, but forgive me if I slip in a war bashing post every now and again. You’ll understand. I’ll be opening a shop on www.etsy.com in the next couple of weeks if anyone is interested in buying any prints…
